West Texas’ Ranch Rodeo returns to Amarillo for its fifth year, riding into the Amarillo National Center April 24–26 with all the grit, speed and dirt-kicked excitement that makes cowboy culture feel alive.
What started just a few years ago has quickly become one of the fastest-growing ranch rodeos in the country, drawing fans who come for the authenticity. Being a WRCA Sanctioned Ranch Rodeo with every competitor a working cowboy, this is the real deal. Ranchers across the state come to compete in events like branding, ranch bronc riding, cow milking and trail loading and more.
A family-friendly event, you can expect a weekend of live music, vendors selling Western wares, and plenty of cheers for every competitor. Plus, the Oliver Saddle Shop Youth Ranch Rodeo gives the next generation a chance to shine, with youth teams testing their mettle in sorting and other fun, skill-building events that celebrate agriculture and horsemanship. Also returning this year are crowd-favorite extras, including the Robinson’s Family Feed “Got Talent!” showcase, a National Anthem Contest and the always-popular Blacksmith Competition, where farriers from around the country compete on time and skill in their best horseshoeing.
