In a city probably better known for mountain boots and ski jackets, Denver Fashion Week is where it proves Colorado style has range. Returning May 1–9, the weeklong event blends high fashion with streetwear swagger, sustainability, adaptive design and new showcases to enjoy this year.
Presented by Furniture Row, this year’s lineup includes eight runway shows inside the brand’s Denver showroom. Now a tradition, this fashion week is a celebration of couture craftsmanship with emerging talent.
This year, Denver Fashion Week is mirroring Colorado itself with a lineup that shifts personalities night after night. Each night brings a new runway course, made for all styles of fashion—and all the many hobbies of Colorado residents. The week kicks off Friday, May 1 with Sustainable, a showcase dedicated to eco-conscious fashion and ethical design. Then, May 2 showcases Society, an evening of avant-garde couture and dramatic silhouettes. Family Day: Youth & Mommy & Me happening May 3 brings a softer, community-focused energy to the runway with coordinated looks and emerging young designers. On Tuesday, May 5, join Streetwear & Sneakers, a high-energy showcase of statement footwear and trend-driven collections. Later in the week on May 6, Maximalism embraces unapologetic excess through vibrant colors and layered textures. And the anticipated new Outerwear & Athleisure show happening May 7 leans into Colorado’s mountain-meets-city aesthetic with luxury sportswear and performance-inspired fashion. The week closes with the return of Swimsuit & Resort Wear on May 9, bringing vacation-ready looks and bold summer style to the runway.
One of the most meaningful moments of the week arrives with the Adaptive Fashion Show, now in its third year and taking place May 8. Created in partnership with Guided by Humanity, the runway highlights inclusive fashion for individuals of all abilities, proving that accessibility and style are not mutually exclusive.
“Denver Fashion Week has grown into the leading fashion platform in Colorado, bringing together the designers, creatives, and industry professionals who are shaping the future of style in our region,” said Event Producer AB Aharonian. “What started as a vision to support Denver’s emerging fashion community has evolved into the state’s premier runway event, spotlighting both rising talent and established designers while showcasing the creativity and energy that define Colorado’s fashion scene.”
Beyond the catwalks, the event also partners with Denver nonprofit Ardent Grove during Mental Health Awareness Month, bringing awareness to accessible trauma-informed therapy and community healing initiatives.
For travelers planning a spring getaway to the Mile High City, Denver Fashion Week offers more than a seat at the runway. It’s a glimpse into a growing creative culture where fashion, art and identity collide — all with a distinctly Rocky Mountain edge.
Denver Fashion Week runs May 1–9, 2026 in Denver. Tickets start at $55, with VIP experiences available.
