The Drive Home
In January, America's Automotive Trust became the first organization of the year to lead a once-in-a-lifetime drive across Route 66 in honor of the highway’s 100th anniversary.
From Santa Monica to Chicago, their convoy of classic cars followed the Mother Road—celebrating the freedom, adventure, and stories that define Route 66.
Now the journey continues all year long at LeMay – America’s Car Museum.
Guests will be greeted in the lobby by the 1965 Ford Country Squire that completed the Route 66 Drive Home, alongside a map highlighting all seven past cross-country Drive Home journeys.
And the celebration doesn’t stop there—be sure to explore the full Route 66 Centennial Exhibition on Level 2, where you can see more of the cars that made the past drives.
