There’s just something satisfying about a good culinary tour. You don’t have to commit to just one menu, one mood or one bite. You get to flirt with flavors, bounce between kitchens and leave feeling like you’ve tasted a city in full. But in Denver, the food scene doesn’t just stop at the plate. The cocktails are having a moment, and it’s one you’ll want in your glass.
Delicious Denver Food Tours now offers a Cocktails Tour: a perfectly paced, delightfully buzzed stroll through some of downtown’s most iconic bars. It’s not a bar crawl (thankfully). It’s curated, intentional and comes with a few tasty bites as well.

About Delicious Denver Food Tours
Owner Jessica Baumgart knows a thing or two about crafting experiences. After spending 13 months traveling the world and taking more than 15 food tours across five continents, she came home inspired.
“When I returned, I knew I wanted to focus on my primary loves, which were food and working with people,” she says.
That passion turned into a booming business and now, a cocktail tour that’s a love letter to Denver’s drink scene.

Where You’ll Go on the Cocktails Tour
The experience begins at the Tavernetta, a James Beard Award-winning restaurant that sets an elevated, thoughtful and slightly indulgent tone. Here, you’ll sip on their signature Brachetto Spritz, a light, slightly sweet drink paired with house-made focaccia and marinated olives that Jessica calls “out of this world.”
From there, the tour winds through the heart of downtown, anchored by landmarks like Union Station and the ever-buzzy Dairy Block. These aren’t just scenic backdrops—they’re part of the story.
“We love showcasing history on our tours,” Jessica explains. “Being able to meet guests in the center of Union Station and then move through these neighborhoods helps shape the narrative and the art of cocktail making in tandem with the way the city has grown.”
One standout stop includes the historic Oxford Hotel, where old-school charm offers classics reimagined. A Butter Pecan Old Fashioned, for example, takes a familiar favorite and flips it with a buttery, nutty twist thanks to a pecan-washed amaro.
“We look at what makes a drink unique,” Jessica says. “Having something people know and then turning it on its head is always so fun and satisfying.”
This tour isn’t just about what’s in the glass, but who’s behind it, as each stop highlights the bartenders, chefs and creatives who make Denver’s scene what it is.
“Running a restaurant is incredibly difficult, and what I say on all of my tours is that these people could be doing so many other, easier jobs, but they choose to do this because of the amount of grit and passion they have.”
And yes, you’ll eat a bit, too. Expect thoughtful pairings along the way, from savory bites to small plates that complement each cocktail without overshadowing it. It’s balanced, it’s intentional and it keeps you comfortably in that sweet spot between tipsy and totally content.
The best part: It all unfolds within just a few walkable blocks, meaning this tour isn’t weather-dependent.
So, if you’re the type who wants to taste everything, sip something new and maybe learn a story or two along the way, this is your move.
