The Local
Doreen Cott
Economic Development Director, Town of Queen Creek
"Simply put, we offer one-of-a-kind agritainment destinations for those family entertainment opportunities," said Doreen Cott, economic development director for the Town of Queen Creek.
Officially incorporated in 1989, Queen Creek is one of Arizona's youngest towns. Yet some of its biggest attractions have been here for generations, and that’s exactly how Queen Creek has grown—by integrating its founders.
As the town practically explodes with more shops, buildings and entertainment, Queen Creek has built around it through agritainment zoning that protects working farms while encouraging them to evolve into visitor destinations.
The result is a town where harvesting peaches and sipping locally roasted coffee go hand-in-hand. Where wandering through olive groves feels just as natural as exploring downtown. Where a walk in the park means sharing the path with horseback riders, and locals don’t blink twice; that’s just life here.

Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Center
Where to Go
Horseshoe Park & Pecan Lake
Probably the epitome of agritainment is the Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre, a long-time staple drawing visitors for rodeos, barrel racing and horse shows. Today, it's still one of the town's signature gathering places. And now it has a new neighbor, Pecan Lake Entertainment, which offers a modern adventure with go-karts, a soaring zipline, miniature golf inspired by famous courses, restaurants and family attractions. It even includes a 10-acre botanical garden, proving that Queen Creek offers just as many opportunities to slow down as it does to play.
“When people visit, they stay for a while, not just come, eat and leave,” Doreen explains. “They'll always have a lot to do in Queen Creek. That's been the goal.”

Schnepf Farms
A Fall Favorite
Schnepf Farms
Schnepf Farms is a year-round gem complete with a coffee shop, the Farmer's Daughter Coffee, and a quaint farmhouse bakery that offers homemade jams and salsas, local gifts and some of the best baked pies there are.
Come late September and October is when the farm truly comes alive with its Halloween Carnival, pumpkin patch, pumpkin ice cream, train rides, haunted attractions and one of Arizona's favorite fall traditions.

Dine Among the Olive Groves
No visit is complete without a stop at the Olive Mill. Beyond fresh sandwiches, pasta and olive oils, visitors can linger beneath the olive trees, browse artisan products or unwind at the Olive Spa. It's the perfect example of Queen Creek's farm-to-table spirit.
